Lone Star Expeditions Wilderness Therapy Program in Texas
Location: Groveton, Texas; north of Houston.
Age Range: Boys and girls ages 13-17 (high school)
Typical Students: Teens struggling with attitude, behavior, or academics who need a structured program with licensed therapists but will also benefit by the experiential wilderness experience.
Therapy: The goal of Lone Star Expeditions is to teach students to think more insightfully, to accurately assess their strengths and weaknesses, develop personal goals, and to identify behavioral strategies that will lead them to success in the future.
